The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that all four door hinges of the vehicle were beginning to fracture. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that all four door hinges needed to be replaced. The dealer also informed the contact that the repair was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the repair was not covered under warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 39,000. I did go to ford dealership all they say is out of warranty. I see this is a safety issue because doors could come off while driving down the road. Please help me figure this out.

Just to get it out of the way, my vehicle is currently in Italy due to my work location. The car is also US spec but was transported here. Approximately 2 months ago, my rear driver door latch gave out, this causes my door to swing wide open since it is unable to latch on and lock. After having this issue, I found out that there was a recall for this already. I then took the vehicle to the nearest Ford dealership to me. They said they would email me when the part came in since they have to order it first, about a month goes by and no email so I drive there again and they say they have the part. I am then told to make a date to get the work done, roll over a few days and I get the car there and drop it off and wait. …

March 27th I went to have my focus recalled March 31st there was still one unopened recall. I did not go back to them to fix it the my documentation was falsified there's still an open recall on my Ford there's no documentation that I have it replaced. In fact it'd be easier to prove that they falsified information nths. It is a simple way to prove you need to remove the door handle and see if the door lock has been repaired and it hasn't

My daughter opened the passenger side rear door. When she pulled it shut it would not catch. Because the door would not shut the door ajar warning is staying on. We were out so I had to drive it home and it came open. So we tied it with a rope. I'm taking it to a dealership tomorrow.

While commuting to work on the highway and coming to a stop due to traffic the vehicle was hit from behind at appx 50mph. My wife saw the imminent impact a split second before it happened & tried to apply the brakes as hard as possible so as not to hit the car in front of her (appx 20-25 feet away). Nonetheless, the impact was too great. It totally destroyed the rear of our car and blew out the back glass. It also pushed our car into the car in front which damaged the right front, bent the hood in the front middle section, made the undercarriage pop out, and broke the radiator. There May have been additional front end damage but the hood was not opened at the time. What's worse, in all of this, the vehicle's air bags never deployed! So, my wife hit her head on the steering wheel twice. …

Hello, today I got into an accident. I hydroplaned and went into a guide rail on the interstate going about 50mph. My friend and I are having major problems with our backs and necks and my airbags didn't deploy. This isn't the first time I've gotten into accident and they didn't deploy. The first time wasn't life threatening but this one was. I don't have any recollection of the accident and I am not able to remember much of yesterday either. I feel like there was something wrong with my vehicle before my accident due to my passenger air bag light kept flickering on and off before the accident and now this happening. Please contact me back on my course of action on what I should take. Thanks, sincerely [redacted]

I was driving on the freeway at 70mph in fifth gear and something in the engine blew. I started blowing oil and smoke out the rear, "service engine soon" came on, and the oil light came on. I lost all power and power steering, so I made my way to the shoulder. I pulled the hood latch and stepped out of the vehicle. Upon exiting the vehicle I witnessed flames shooting out from underneath the hood in the engine bay. I backed up and watched the front of the car fully engulf into flames.

My dps6 transmission again had a severe shuddering incident when pulling out into 55 MPH rush hour traffic on a 6-lane highway. After the shudder discontinued and speed was increased to approximately 50 MPH, while attempting to navigate into another lane, I had a significant loss of power after engaging the accelerator to the floor with zero response from the transmission. Due to this defect, my vehicle was struck in the rear by an oncoming vehicle.

Air bags did not employ. Windshield totally shattered with holes from tree branches. Body of car severely damaged if not totaled. Insurance adjuster will determine on Wednesday 9/28/2016
