What owners report

The tires that were delivered on my new auto were deflective and dangerous as reported by the dealer on 10/1/24. The tires were wearing abnormally. One of the tires was worn so badly that I was warned that it could have blown at any moment. The tires had less than 16,000 miles. The car was maintained at the dealer every 5,000 miles. I was not notified about the defect until a worker at my home noticed the severe wearing of the edge of the right rear tire. (photo attached). As a result of the warning from the dealership I had to replace all 4 tires as I was warned that all of the tires will end up with abnormal wear within a 5,000 mile period. The problem was inspected and confirmed by the dealer. There were no warning signs, alarms or other signs other than at the time the rotation of the tires at 16,248 miles. …

The vehicle has experienced the same safety issue on two separate occasions. While driving, the vehicle suddenly lost power and displayed a "Conditions Not Correct for Shift" warning message. During the incident, the vehicle became stuck in Drive and could not be shifted normally. The brakes also did not respond as expected, creating a significant safety hazard and making it difficult to maintain control of the vehicle. The failure occurred without warning and has happened more than once, raising concerns about the safety and reliability of the vehicle's electrical, powertrain, and braking systems.

Tires losing air due to poor chroming process, aka paint on rims, fake chrome paint is peeling off on inside of rims, (since GM doesn't like to rustcoat any of their parts to save a couple $) causing tires not to seal to rim, as well valve stem hole is no longer round due to flaking paint and air is escaping here as well. This could lead to tire blowouts and probably has, and was probably blamed on the tire or road hazards that weren't there.

My family recently purchased 4 new tires Michelin energy saver a/s 265/65/18. The tires were purchased in November. With the tires being under 6 months old we have already experienced the following issues. 4 separate flat tires. Which I gave Michelin the benefit of the doubt that its not completely there fault for nails / screws being in roadways. But common 4 flats in a matter of a few months with only 4K miles being put on the vehicle since tires installed. Finally what completely got me was the side wall developed a 3 inch split. Im just glad I noticed it before my wife and kids were driving the vehicle down the highway and had a blowout on the steer tires. After looking at reviews online im not the only person that having issue with these tires. There are multiple complaints about sidewall blowouts and these tires being magnets for screws and nails. …

2007 Escalade · 107,000 miles · Apr 2020

I purchased a 2007 Escalade and have had it for just about 1 year. So far I have had to replace a defective windshield, hubs, EVAP sensor, purge valve, fuel level sensor, transmission, defective rims, plus the normal wear and tear items....brakes, rotors, battery. All of which happened to go right around 90,000 to 100,000 miles. I contacted Cadillac to address the issues and compensate some costs as this SUV has always been regularly maintained with the best products available including synthetic oils. They refused to work with me.... Well today the icing on the cake. My grandfather passed away this week, while moving his personal belongings and having a full truck load of them the truck caught on fire. Smoke began to pour in from the dash by the windshield the under the dash. I opened the hood and flames shot out burning my hand. The police & fd came. …
